On 3rd February 2025, during the two-day Sensitization Programme on the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners, organized by the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Programme (ROLAC) in collaboration with the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the NBA-YLF Governing Council convened an interactive meeting with Chairmen of the Young Lawyers Forum from across the federation at the NBA House, Abuja.
The meeting served as a strategic platform to deepen engagement between the Governing Council and branch leadership, with a focus on strengthening the overall impact and development of the Forum. It provided an opportunity for open dialogue, enabling Chairmen to share feedback, highlight peculiar challenges faced by young lawyers in their respective branches, and contribute ideas toward improving coordination, inclusivity, and effectiveness within the NBA-YLF.
In addition, the session allowed the Governing Council to once again present its roadmap, outlining key activities, programs, and achievements recorded since assuming office. This reaffirmed the Forum’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and a results-driven approach to leadership.
On behalf of the Governing Council, the National Chairman expressed appreciation to the Branch Chairmen for their unwavering support, dedication, and confidence in the leadership of the Forum. He emphasized that sustained collaboration and collective effort remain essential to advancing the vision and strengthening the future of the NBA-YLF.
