On 27th May 2025, the National Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association – Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF), Timothy Clement, paid an official visit to the NBA-YLF Kano Branch, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement and collaboration across branches nationwide.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to meet and interact with young lawyers in Kano State, gaining firsthand insight into the peculiar challenges they face both in legal practice and within the Forum. The engagement fostered open dialogue, allowing members to share their experiences, concerns, and expectations, while also reinforcing the importance of inclusive leadership and grassroots connection within the NBA-YLF.
In his remarks, the Chairman assured members of the Governing Council’s commitment to addressing identified challenges and improving the overall experience of young lawyers across the country. He also encouraged them to actively take advantage of the various programs, initiatives, and opportunities made available by the NBA-YLF to support professional growth, capacity development, and career advancement.
The Chairman expressed sincere appreciation to the leadership of the NBA-YLF Kano Branch, ably led by A.S. Gidan-Wankey, Esq., for the warm reception and hospitality extended during the visit.
The engagement underscores the NBA-YLF’s continued dedication to fostering stronger connections with its members and ensuring that the voices of young lawyers are heard, represented, and supported across all regions.
