In a notable show of support, Sammie Somiari, SAN, has registered all young lawyers in his firm to participate in the Summit and also made a promise to fully support the summit.
He emphasized that senior members of the Bar bear a longstanding and traditional responsibility to mentor and nurture the next generation of legal practitioners, ensuring continuity, excellence, and leadership within the profession.
He also called on senior members of the Bar to actively support the programs and initiatives of the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, particularly as the Forum marks two decades of structured advocacy and capacity building during the forthcoming Summit.
The Summit is scheduled to hold from the 22nd-24th of April 2026, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
